E-Petitions Update – 11th May

E-petitions are an easy, personal way for you to influence government and Parliament in the UK.  If an E-petition gets at least 100,000 signatures, it will be considered for debate in the House of Commons.

There are 3 E-Petitions on HM Government E Petition site broadly related to the Police protest.   The number of signatures at the time of writing this blog are shown below:-

http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/32177 -14,828 signatures

http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/31250 – 15,652 signatures

http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/22321 – 30,769 signatures

If you read the petitions via the link and want to support any, or all of these please sign them on the Government site.  Debate is needed.

If you have concerns then make your feelings known by signing an e-petition and aksing others to sign as well 100,000 people is really not a large number, if we all act together.
